In 2011, we've been selected by a major corporation to test a new soil amendment which increases iron content, holds moisture better, and retains potash in the soil.  The site areas include the fairway on #4 and #7 tee, and the areas surrounding the new wetlands.  Golfers can watch these areas to see if they notice any difference in those soils.

    We'll also be adding new sand to all green-side sand traps on the course.

In 2010, in cooperation with the DEP, we had the old coal refuse from the back nine removed. In its place, we created 6 new wetland areas on the back nine.  We also added 4 new wetland areas on the front nine.
